Even in Italy, after decades of delay compared to other European realities, it was possible to intervene to solve the problem of vibrations induced by existing railway systems from the beginning, or by creating a system of elastic supports under the foundations, to reduce the transmissibility of vibrations up to residential residences. Our firm is among the very few able to follow such problems, first carrying out the necessary checks according to European and Italian standards and then working alongside the structural designers to determine which are the best materials or spring systems able to effectively mitigate the problem, making it fall within acceptable values.
